I.D.E.A.® Annual INTERIOR DECOR of EXCELLENCE AWARD

This award is open to Industry Professionals actively engaged in the  INTERIOR DECOR DESIGN INDUSTRY. 

IDEA focuses on interior decorating and design projects of all sizes, budgets, and timelines. 

We welcome entries featuring any interior space, allowing for diverse creativity and innovation. 

All submissions 

  • are evaluated based on criteria such as budget management, the challenges faced, practicality, and aesthetic appeal. 
  • from Industry Students are WELCOME
  • are approved for IDRC publicity use only and remain courtesy of the applicant. Please note, previously copyrighted images cannot be accepted. 
  •  must be digital and received by info@IDRCanada.org

 a) coloured images up to 5 (3000 dpi or good quality)

 b) written outline, including the neighbourhood/city of the project 

 c)  brand names of decor suppliers used

All submissions are subject to administration fees ( Students $25+hst, Decor Trade Professionals $50+hst)

I.D.E.A.® Winners are selected and announced in Decor Digest, IDRC’s newsletter publication, which after 550+ issues is now recognized as a significant advertising and quality publication for the Interior Decorating Industry.

APPLICATIONS for IDEA 2024 must be submitted by midnight December 31st, 2024. Winners will be announced in February 2025.
