IDRC is pleased to introduce new affordable online Education program for all trades involved in the Interior decorating and design services and supplies.

IDRC program is Open to everyone wishing to either make a career of their passion and fast-track into Interior Design and Décor at a professional level with internet driven costs or to upgrade décor professional skills and qualifications with product knowledge, sales & service, hands-on installations and specialisations within the trades

  • CEU accredited Seminars.

As a not-for-profit Trade association IDRC is sponsored by leading suppliers in the Décor Design Industry and surplus revenues from operations is used in encouragement of trade activities and education as recognised in the IDRC corporate charitable registration status.

History of IDRC

IDRC represents over 40 years of service to the Decorating Industry promoting the awareness of quality interior decorating products and services through trade and consumer advertising media, trade shows and education.

In the mid 70th’s wall covering was taking hold as the trendy decor product. Several manufacturers and distributors joined together to form a group called the Canadian Wallcovering Distributors Association, CWDA. They hosted trade shows and educational seminars across Canada to show how innovative the product had evolved.

Ana Piling is a past President of the IDRC and co-founder of Night and Day Window decor. Ana is a Certified Window Treatment Consultant.

Mike Boyd

DIRECTOR

Mike serves as the National Manager of Canadian operations for Maxwell Fabrics, a position he has held for over 26 years.

Tatiana McNeil

DIRECTOR

Tatiana was immersed in all of the administrative duties and managed IDRC growth under Dennis’s leadership for the past 20 years.

Dennis is the Founder of IDRC and established an Ontario scholarship fund to recognize excellence in Interior Decoration studies.

Educator

Deb is a speaker, designer, educator, trend forecaster and consultant. As the founder of Window Dressings, Deb specializes in textiles, window coverings and soft furnishings. Deb often travels internationally for engagements.
