2016 I.D.E.A. Winner - ANA Interiors

About Us

Our vision is to create a world where interior decor professionals are celebrated for their creativity, innovation, and expertise and where they have the resources, support, and community they need to thrive.

We strive to empower and elevate our members through education and networking and to inspire a new generation of design leaders who will shape the future of our industry.

The IDRC is dedicated to supporting the next generation of decor, design and visual arts professionals through Scholarship and the annual Interior Decor of Excellence Award, IDEA.

History of IDRC

IDRC represents over 60 years of service to the Decorating Industry promoting the awareness of quality interior decorating products and services through trade and consumer advertising media, trade shows and education.

In the mid 70th’s wall covering was taking hold as the trendy decor product. Several manufacturers and distributors joined together to form a group called the Canadian Wallcovering Distributors Association, CWDA. They hosted trade shows and educational seminars across Canada to show how innovative the product had evolved.
